HELLO FOLKS;

PLEASE NOTE: WITH 4K4 PREFIX THE ZONE IS INDETERMINATE.

THESE ISLANDS ARE IN ZONES 17, 18 AND 19.

THE NORTHLAND GROUP (UA0B) IS IN ZONE 18
THE NOVOSIBIRSKEI (NEW SIBERIAN) ISLANDS (UA0Q) AND WRANGEL ISLAND
(UA0K) ARE IN ZONE 19.
I HAVE ALSO WORKED 4K4 ISLANDS IN ZONE 17 (UA9K).
MOST OF THEM ARE IN ZONE 18, BECAUSE I THINK THAT THE CALL IS
DETERMINED FROM WHERE THE LICENSE IS ISSUED. DICKSON IS THE BIG
PLACE IN THE ARCTIC, AND THE 4K4 CALLS COME FROM THERE; BUT
STATIONS OUT IN THE ISLANDS ALSO SIGN /UA9K,UA0B,UA0Q,UA0K.
YOU MUST PUT DOWN THE ZONE THAT THE PERPETRATOR TELLS YOU.

Hi guys.

Need some ideas for a 160 meter antenna that can be built and put up in
a day and fit a 100X200 lot.

Also, need feedpoint impedance of abt 50 ohms or 200 ohms, coax fed. No
capacitors etc to burn up with high rf either.

Thanks,
peter
