CQWW and MERGE Problems

I tried to merge the multiplier and run station logs with MERGE and
it complained bitterly about the mess and threw up its hands. Then
MERGE386 seemed to work, at least it ran, but when I tried to
load the merged file into CT, CT crashes big time and I had to
re-boot the computer. CT version 8.42. Seems like somebody else
was mentioning they had a problem. Any fixes?

Well, considering the "great response" I got the last time (:-)),
Anyone interested in participating in a Multi Single operation
at the Aspen Contest Station, please contact me via
email: georgen@redwood.stortek.com
work phone (303)-673-5698
home phone (303)-642-0565
Again we're trying to find a few more ops to be able to run multi-single
for CW CQWW.

I had clean sweeps in both '91 and '92 from NH operating lower power single,
but gave up a significant amount of Q's (read hundreds) spending hours on
the second day searching for missing sections. (The mug was more important
to me than the score!) Just calling "CQ" didn't do it. I had to go looking
for them.

I interpret this rule to prohibit more than one transmitted signal
on the air at any given time during the contest.

MERGE386 was broken. There's a new version up on the CT BBS (I think it's
dated 11/5/93 - I don't remember).

This new version displays to the screen all the contacts that are duplicated
in the two logs. If you get a screen full of stuff when you try to do the
merge, you know you have the right version.
