CQP...County Lines....and CT

OK ... I'll bite.  Is there a way of entering a county line in CT 
while preserving the QSO number?  I just enter a NOTE with the QSO such
as ... c/l san diego/imperial.  I have been lucky in the past in that I
have not had to recompute the score because I worked both of the
counties later in the contest.  If there is a better way I would like
to hear from you.
