BOOOOOO HISSSSSSSSS....

THIS SOUNDS LIKE IT INTERFERS WITH THE ROCHESTER NY HAMFEST/CONVENTION.
ROCHESTER HAS BECOME ONE OF THE LARGEST HAMFESTS IN THE NORTHEAST US
OUTSIDE OF DAYTON. COUNT ME OUT FOR DAYTON STARTING IN 1996....

875 QSO's, 72 Sections, 6 Countries, 137,904 Points

Best score yet, but missed some really easy multipliers, like 4U1UN,
VP9, J7, etc. Missed sections were SJV, AK, PAC, VI and YUK.
Saw after the contest that most of these were spotted on the
cluster, so will have to look harder next year!

Using TenTec Omni V & Heathkit SB- 1000 (500 Watts)
Inverted L, with 40 feet vertical, the rest horizontal, with
      12 quarter wave radials.

I've been spoiled working at AB4RU in the past (with all those
beverages and the good signal), really missed having any receive
antennas. The local noise and QRN really made it tough going. My
apologies to those I may not have heard or had a hard time copying!

73, see you on 10! John - KB4GID

Well, for a 'part-time' effort, I had a BLAST! I only operated from about
5pm to 2am local time, with lots of off time to watch TV and fix other
problems at the KS9K contest station.

No-Code Extra WE9V from the station of KS9K
High Power, unassisted

1025 QSOs, 73 sections, 14 DX  ==>  183,570

IC-765, Modified Elevated Verticals, Homebrew 8877, 2 580' 2-wire bevs.

Missed KH6, KL7, VI, VE8

Bonus Multipliers (what we in the Black Hole call DX) :
5T, J7, YL, ES, SM, ON, CT, G, VP2M, VP9, CO, 4U1U

Heard SP and DL CQing on my freq, but they couldn't hear me. That's when I
got the clue to call "CQ DX" and had a nice string of EU call me Saturday nite.
DX on 160M from the Midwest is COOL!

If anyone heard my stint with KY2T Saturday nite, I appologize...but ya
gotta do wha 'cha gotta do. Does anyone know this KY2T guy???
FREQUNECY STEALING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED BY THIS STATION!!

Other scores seen on the PacketCluster after awaking:
K0KX (K0SF op) 1177 Qs 76 sec 21 DX
W0BXR M/S 1044 Qs 78 mults

Chad WE9V
Loud is Cool....yeah, heh, heh, heh, LOUD is COOL!

Someone on the reflector related getting a citation or OO report.
I got one ÿOO report! for operating on a frequency too close to "the
approved SSTV frequency allocation..." during SS Phone. Any similar
     occurrances?
