Last year I had to send my 850 in for service to fix the alc as I was
not getting output on SSB.
I still think I have a problem and wanted to poll other 850 users.
When I have the processor on I cannot control the alc level with the
mic gain control. No matter where it is set the alc level stays the
same. The only way to alter the alc level is to adjust the processor
level.
When I turn the processor off I can then adjust the alc level by
using the mic gain control.
So the question is: can u other users adjust the alc with the mic
gain control when your processor is on?

Hi gang,
A contester friend of mine asked me to tap into this reflector's vast
knowledge base and find out if anybody knows if its possible to control a
Create RC 5B-3 rotor from other control boxes. There is a rotor available to
him with no control box and he has been having a hard time finding a Create
control box. He has a Kenpro box and was wondering if somehow this could be
used with the Create rotor.
If you have any ideas, please send them to me direct.
