Many thanx to the dozen or so people that gave me such good info on stand-
alone DVK's. I'm definately going to act on some/all of the suggestions. Also
per several requests I'll format/summarize and re-post to the list in the next
couple of days. Now I'm really looking forward to SS this year!

Tom,
We did get lots of requests for repeats on the county name, but we stuck with
the official local pronunciation which is like Mono - nucleosis. We were at
almost 8,000 ft elevation on the Eastern side of the High Sierra. The scenery
is so dramatic and beautiful it can even help you forget your bouts with Murphy.

I saw a bunch of traffic recently (within the past few months) about the
Radio Shack DSP unit, but can't find anything in my archives.

Local store has them on clearance - any comments for use on the
second/S&P contest radio? I have an IC-725, which doesn't have the best
filtering...
