WriteLog version 7.33 is now free. Its a contest logging program
for Windows (also runs 100% under Windows 95 and OS/2). This is
the most recent version of the same program I've been
advertising in NCJ for three years or so. This is the "real thing".
Not shareware, cripple-ware or nag-ware and no begging. Just free
software.
Its available from:
Compu$erve HAMNET forum. Search the Software Library for
keyword "WriteLog" and get the THREE most recent files.

I think your idea is great! If more contests all around the world, not just
those sponsored by ARRL, had invitiations similar to the one above, I'm sure
that more new chums would enter. Trying to figure out the exchange, and
stuff like that can sometimes be intimidating (can you clearly explain the
QTC rule in the European DX 'test (formerly WAE)?)
Come on Contest Sponsors! Get in the 20th Century! After all, it's almost over!
Don't bother flaming...I know how to use CTRL+D!

We had this discussion on the reflector before, but I will summarize for
those that missed it:
* There is no need to post a message to the entire
reflector to ask us to work you.
* If we hear you, we will work you. Trust us.
While it may be tempting to place these types of messages on the reflector,
realize that if all 1,000 of us on the reflector did this for each
contest... well, you get the picture.
