Hmmm, Barry I think this may be a gray area. Most of the packet networks
connect to each other now via the internet, rather than thru a true rf
path. If you receive a dx spot from a node that has been transported via
the internet does that violate the rules? I currently connect to 17 other
systems on my Packetcluster node. The software is a ham radio product,
Packetcluster, and jnos, and everything else except for the media
(internet) is an amateur product. Now as far as a telnet to another cluster
is concerned if you use the 44 net (for amateur purposes only) is this a
valid means of getting a amateur only path to a distant cluster? I think
so, is it within the rules of contesting? I am not sure. I personally do
not use the cluster for contesting, I just dont think its fair! 73 and see
ya in rtty wpx (I hope). Jim WU3V

Checking my log for CQ WW CW this past weekend I logged
        3V8BB on 15 meters .....21.106 MHz at 1535z 24-Nov-96 ?

Can some one else who worked Uli on this freq 21.106 MHz
around this time let me know ?

Also if anyone has a spot on this freq 21.106 MHz for 3V8BB
        please let me know ?

Been along time but I think that is the novice band. Is there still a
power restriction in that band? If so, I wonder how many folks turned
down the amp if the freq listed is correct?

Hi there -

I'm going to be in the LAX area in the period of Dec 19 to Dec 22. I
understand it is pre-Xmas fuss time but I'd like to get to see
hams/contesters in the area who might be interested.

Thanks for the bandwidth,

Dimitri,
