WHAT: The Wisconsin QSO Party
WHEN: This weekend 1800Z Sun 9 Mar to 0100Z Mon 10 Mar - 7 hours Sun
afternoon
WHERE: All bands (including VHF), CW and Phone, the usual freqs (higher in
the band)
WHY: Work as many Wisconsin stations as possible, win a certificate (fairly
easy), work some new counties.

Detailed rules in the journals. Summary follows:
Exchange: RST State/Prov/WI county
Scoring: CW QSOs 2 points per, Phone 1 point per. Work each WI station on as
many bands/modes possible. Multipliers: Inlanders (WI stations): WI counties
+ states + VE provinces. Auslanders (Everyone else): WI counties (72 total).
Final score: multiply total points by mult total. There are bonus points for
some WI stations. See the detailed rules.
Send score to West Allis ARC address in journals. Results are usually out in
a few weeks.

Disclaimer: I have no official connection with running this thing. The WAARC
runs it. I am posting this to try to drum up activity. I will be mobile in
some rare Northern WI counties. If you can't find the WAARC address or can't
decipher some of the county abbreviations you get, send me a _private_ (not
to the list!!!!!) e-mail. I'll help you.
