Hi all - Happy holidays. After reading AF9Y's article in January QST,
I was intrigued enough to download the .WAV file and try to copy the
"mystery callsign." My attempts so far have been unsuccessful, though
I thought I had the call correct.
For those unaware of what I talking about, this is a one minute audio
file of the ultimate in-the-noise signal from a moonbounce QSO. It
reminds me of my 160m Heard Island QSO, but this signal is
weaker.
I wonder if anyone else has listened to the file? (I don't have the URL
handy, but if you do a Yahoo search under AF9Y, it comes right up)
