I think Lew hits the nail on the head with one sentence. Exactly what
are the chain of events that bring about a rule change for the WPX
contest? Maybe Steve (BJQ) can explain how the rule was changed from 30
to 36 hours in the first place. This would give us a better
understanding of how to change it back.
Is it a decision by committee? Is there a process? Does one guy have
total control? So far, complaining about it year after year on the
reflector has done nothing to bring about change. Maybe it's time to
agree that 30 hours is best and now argue about the best way to get it
done.
