Here in the U.K. we have a domestic contest where the exchange
includes your post code to the first station you work. Thereafter you
send qso # 1 post code received as your exchange for your 2nd qso
followed by #2 post code received as the exchange for your 3rd qso
etc. This method could be adapted using Grid Squares,it has the
advantage of being easily checked to see who has made a mistake in
copying and would put back some operator involvement in to some of the
major contests it would work like this:
        Qso 1 send em34 rcv fn12
           "   2    "    fn12    "   cm98
           "   3    "    cm98  "   whatever and so on
It is readily handled by computer logging, there is at least one log
programme already capable of handling it. It can be scored how you like
with or without RST and at least puts the requirement of copying
information other than the other stations call. So how about a radical
move for contest exchanges. It would be more interesting than 59905
