Palmyra has been on offer for many, many years at far lower asking prices.
$47M for 600 acres (at high tide) is about $78k per acre. No electricity,
no potable water, fly/ship in all supplies from several thousand miles away.
Sounds pretty ridiculous to me.
For $47M there are a lot of other cool pieces of real estate to purchase
for contesting/DXing.
Wonder what kind of recreational chemicals those dudes are using?
