The Western Washington DX Club is the host for this year's Pacific NW DX
Convention, to be held at the Southcenter Doubletree Inn on the 17th-19th
of July. The location is a change from the Holiday Inn in Renton. The
hotel is closer to the airport and in the heart of the Southcenter mall
area with lots of shopping and restaurants.
There's a crackerjack lineup of programs, including as keynote speaker,
Ralph, K0IR on South Pacific DX Odysseys. Bill, VE7SBO will regale us
with tales of DX adventures of the past at the Sunday breakfast. The
Saturday programs cover antennas, remote station design, two-radio
contesting, lowband operating, and a visit by the new DXCC Manager, Bill
Moore, KC1L. Card checking for DXCC will be provided. Did I mention door
prizes including a BIG ONE? Come by the hospitality suite and check out
some new ICOM gear!
