<< In a PGA event, it ain't over until the score card is signed - after the
player has reviewed it to make sure the score for each hole is correct.

In league bowling, the score sheet may be corrected before the recap
sheet is filled out. Even then the league sec. can correct errors in
 addition on the recap sheet.

In the NFL, instant replay has been used. To bad the league didn't keep
it. Too many errors by refs!

In the NHL, goals and assists have been changed after the game was over.
And this was before instant replay!!

In Major League Baseball, hits and errors have been reversed after the
 game was over.
Usually to pad the home teams stats!

In ham radio, the contest is over when the log has been submitted.

YES, you are permitted to SCORE your
log after the contest, but can NOT "re-do" your effort. Can the golfer retake
his shots on the 14th or 15th hole after the tourny is over? Can the bowler
who missed a spare, try again in that same frame? Adjustment of SCORES if
fine, altering the EFFORT is NOT.
