No phone contacts in the "conventional CW sub-bands"? From the
perspective of a US operator, I have very good reason to think of
7000-7150 as a conventional CW sub-band. Likewise, the same is true
below 14150 and 21200. But the problem is on 40m. One of the real
"challenges" of the RAC contacts is getting multipliers on 40 SSB. The
VE's tend to make all their phone contacts in the conventional CW
sub-band!
Um, sorry Doug, but this rule sounds even murkier than the ARRL CFZ.
(It's not a problem for me in ZFland, though. Here, one can even
operate SSB on the whole of 30m!)

Going to be first time in Stew Perry TopBand Distance Challenge
this year. What is the best solution calling CQ for this contest. ?
Is CQ TEST good one, or better if we use some notice to the
contest CQ TBDC TEST, CQ BB TEST or something like that. ?
You guys sure have some experience after two years.
