The problem with most aviation sets is that they use electret mikes that
require a bias voltage from the radio (or an external box to interface
it), but you could probably drop a Heil element into a lot of these with
little trouble. They also say "aviation" on them which means the price
doubles (or triples)...
Here's an interesting one from David Clark...probably expensive and might
be too much for amateur radio but it's stereo and NR and supposedly
lightweight and comfortable...and they have a 30 day return as well. Sells
Here's one of 3 by Lightspeed that look interesting: This is the most
expensive at ~$500
Here's a Sennheiser that weighs 6 oz...on the ear...$579

Subject: [CQ-Contest] Bose Headphones
Several people have asked for the model number and/or ordering info. They
are called "Quiet Comfort", and here's the URL you want"
They offer a 30-day free trial, and I have no idea if they track the
contest calendar. A flurry of free trials beginning the end of October and
a lot of returns at the end of November might be suspicious...
