Its time to plan for the winter contests, now that winter is finally
here! I am looking for operators for the following planned m/m
operations:

ARRL DX CW 2/15-16
ARRL DX SSB 3/1-2

Note that club credit goes to YCCC. As I read the rules for club
competition this year only 50% of the operators need to be club members,
so this is a chance for new operators or someone visiting the area to
join in.

All operator types are needed. There are times for S&P, slow running,
and hopefully lots of high rate times. Reserve your seat now! If you
like XC skiing be sure to bring along your skis.

In addition my station is available for s/o or bring your friends for a
multi op for the following contests or other ones those weekends if you
are interested:

1/5 ARRL RTTY Roundup
1/11-12 NAQP CW
1/18-19 NAQP SSB, ARRL Jan VHF SS
2/8-9 CQ/RJ RTTY WPX
2/21-23 CQ 160m SSB, NAQP RTTY

If anyone is interested in trying out so2r I have set mine back up here.
I use the wx0b so2r master for the audio control, ibs-1 band decoders
and the wx0b six-pak antenna switching, ct or na for software, and have
all 6 bands plus beverages available to both radios/amps. The only
manual operation in switching bands is retuning amps right now. I will
be around most of the time through jan 5th if you are interested in
seeing how these things work and playing around a bit. With the 1-2' of
snow on the ground here you can also try out the xc skiing.

I have been doing some work on my web site, some new links have been
added, and more knot stuff has been added to the tech reference section.
If you see a good technical discussion thread on any of the reflectors
you watch and can condense down the authoritative answers I would like
to add them to the reference section. Take a look at some of the stuff
I have collected there and let me know if you are interested in
collecting something to add to it.

I have also updated and expanded the webcam pages.
(http://www.k1ttt.net/webcam/ should get you an index page now) Please
let me know if you have any problems with these pages either viewing or
refreshing as right now I can only test with IE and I have made quite a
few changes to them.

As always the Whats New page has links to all the recent changes at
http://www.k1ttt.net/new.html.
