"Frank Witt AH1X had a VERY good antenna (inverted vee) which covers BOTH CW and SSB on 80/75. It has a double dip SWR point. Uses a coaxial stub system to do that. I believe it's in the ARRL Antenna Handbook and may, also, be in the ARRL Handbook."

I have one of these antennas at 50 feet off my tower in a inverted vee configuration. Mine covers from somewhere below 3500 to about 3900 with a SWR of 1.2 at 3500 and rising to no higher than about 1.6 over the rest of the band. I cut mine a bit long to favor the low end of 80 meters.

I found my plan for the antenna in ON4UN's Low Band DXing book on page 8-9. It is also in the ARRL Antenna Book.

I recommend it!
