Not true. As soon as the K2 RIT control is moved (after a prior "clear" by
the computer) it reverts to its actual offset as determined by the RIT
control position. It is an analog control, not an encoder, so a "clear" is
only temporary until the control is changed, at which time the
microprocessor is updated with the actual reading of the potentiometer
control. The only way to truly zero the K2 RIT is to return the pot to its
nominal 12 o'clock setting. This makes the computer "clear" of the K2 RIT
pretty much useless.
