My suggestion is to ground the MFJ better.
I use a short, like about 20cm or 8 inch long ground wire between
MFJ and the radio it is connected to.
Minus side is the placing of the keyer is naturally limited.

I use a external, linear (with transformer) power source for the
voice keyer.

No ferrites needed.
Works fine, no RFI.
