This really happened in November, at a major contest
station. No, I won't identify the other person
involved!

During CQWW CW, a few of the non-duty ops were
discussing the current state of band selection
and plans for some band change schedules. Several
bands were being discussed.
I was bent over a copy of DX Atlas on a laptop, looking
at the grey line map.
"Sunset is starting to cross Japan at around 0710Z.",
I observed.
"On what band?" inquired one of the other ops.
Short pause.
"Well, on *ALL* of them!"
