Hi Don,

Is there any way you could add guys to the Rohn 25? If so, you could add some height. In your case, I think an additional 20 ft would make a
significant difference. 40 ft would be even better.

If you're hanging the wires off the tower it would help them a lot too.

To the group, I am new to this group.I am one of those "small pistols" in
contests.I feel my station antenna system needs improvements, but I am real estate
limited.Very small lot,not enough room for effective radials for a 40,80 or 160
vertical.I presently have an old Mosely TA-33 at 35 feet,Rohn 25G tower,Alliance HD-73
rotor.Also a Alpha Delta DX-B sloper,and a ladder line fed 135' Dipole,which takes up the
entire length of the lot.I have the tower house bracketed at 15 feet, and have no problems
with the present installation.I know they all need to be higher, but you have to live with
what you can do sometimes.
Any recomendations for a better tri-bander?I have been considering a Bencher
SkyHawk or possibly a Force 12,but I do not want to overstress the existing
tower, rotor setup,so I am limited. Also, any ideas for improving performance of
the sloper?Would a short(40' max)set of radials at the tower base help?
Thanks in advance for any input any of you could give.
