Well, give up on the worry, and just keep entering CW contests. Eventually, your CW proficiency will improve. Don't be afraid to send QRS or AGN.


Even if you could copy 20 wpm solid, it isn't enough for a CW contest. Contester typically run 25-35 wpm in most contests. Stick a bit higher in the band, where you'll usually find lower speeds.

All you need is practice.
