I realize there may be strategic reasons for contesters to identify only
every 3 or 4 QSOs. There may even be a strategic reason for someone
identifying every 15 QSOs. (?) As a S&P contester, however, if I don't
hear a call fairly quickly, I just spin the dial and move on. (Although I
would REALLY like to work you if I could determine who you are!)
When I think of who does it "right" - N6TJ/ZD8Z. Whether it is an SSB or
CW contest, you hear:
ZD8Z.............ZD8Z...........ZD8Z
And not: QRZ..............QRZ.............QRZ.............QRZ............
He understands and this is why, in my opinion, he is among the top amateur
radio operators/contesters in the game today.
