A reminder that the 2006 Oceania DX contest is happening on the first two
weekends of October as follows:
PHONE: 0800 UTC Saturday 7 October to 0800 UTC Sunday 8 October
CW: 0800 UTC Saturday 14 October to 0800 UTC Sunday 15 October
Exchange: callsign, RS(T) and serial number. DX stations work Oceania. Oceania
stations can work anyone.

Note that there are several new plaque awards bring offered to entrants in the
Top entrant from Europe in CW Single Operator categories - sponsored by VK6DXI.
Top entrant from Europe in PHONE Single Operator All Band category - sponsored
by the Oceania Amateur Radio DX Group Inc.
Top entrant from North America in CW Single Operator All Band category -
sponsored by the Oceania Amateur Radio DX Group Inc.
Top club from Australia - sponsored by the VK Contest Club.
A special participation certificate will also be awarded to every station that
makes at least 100 QSOs in the PHONE or CW section of the contest
We are pleased to advise that an email robot has been set up to automate the
processing of the incoming logs (special thanks to Trey N5KO for setting up the
robot). Note that logs sent by email will need to be in the correct Cabrillo
format to be accepted by the robot.
