This has got to be a new record for spots. 48260 spots in my database for
the weekend, that is averaging over 1000 spots/hr for the whole weekend...
and i probably lost 30-45 minutes due to power outages here.

These are the most spotted stations from the weekend.
DX Count
XF4DL 649

And these were the busiest spotters:

AA3B what were you smoking??? Were you using the automatic spot of s&p
qso's or something and just dialing around all weekend???

Cheerleader report

Remember how this works. the number in the 'spots' column is how many spots
the spotter made for that

dx station. the total column is how many spots the spotter made that
weekend. and the pct is what

percentage of spots the spotter made were for only that one station.

Interesting, d4b was spotting from Russia and cheerleading for a couple
stations.

And 2 stations obviously calling cq on the cluster. very strange. Also
seen spotting themselves in the contest, though not enough times to make the
cheerleading list were: VK2RO, ZR1EL, ZP5VIA, YB1TC, VK2ATZ, VA2PZ, UZ5UA,
TU2/F5LDY, TA1CM, SV0IG, SN5Z, RK3YWT, RK0UT, PY6KY, PA3A, ON4BBQ, ON4AXU,
N4BH, MU5W, MI0JZZ, M0LSK, LW4DXH, LU7YSF, K7EG, DL9URZ, EA1DOU, EC1AJU,
HK3SGP and probably a few more...

why so many?? most were only 1 or 2 spots so maybe sloppy keying on
dxsummit?

=================================================================
Single spotter spots:

DX Total All DXSummit
XF4DL 649 88(13%) 29(4%)
IG9C 154 44(28%) 40(25%)
XX9C 387 25(6%) 6(1%)
3C0M 64 19(29%) 3(4%)
VK9AA 166 19(11%) 5(3%)
V26B 392 18(4%) 5(1%)
B7M 70 16(22%) 15(21%)
YO4RIU 49 14(28%) 12(24%)
ZL6QH 185 12(6%) 5(2%)

This doesn't look very interesting at all, maybe a good sign? Or are the
cheaters catching on to this analysis?? IG9C is a bit on the high side
though for a not so rare place, and maybe also b7m and yo4riu. More later
I'm sure.

=================================================================

NOTE!

DXSummit spot analysis... there seemed to be some bad data from dxsummit
this weekend. So I have only put in the ones that seemed more obvious and
had enough repetitions to make me fairly certain the data was ok. Even at
that, there is enough to get a few interesting examples.

The IP address of course comes back to Brasil. Kind of plain fake spots.

PR7AF started spotting stuff from that machine. Slightly more interesting
anyway.

what is it with Brasil this weekend? Another one sending spots from the

similar comments on lots of spots from many different spotters... and

And of course IG9C... not real big on the single spotter spots because the

The whole block of IP's is from a wholesale dial-up provider in Italy,
obviously a dynamic IP assignment. But plenty of faked calls with identical
comments in the various blocks to tie them all together. Though it looks
like he got tired of typing lampedusa near the end. Someone was having lots
of fun spotting ig9c for the weekend. Even if they weren't doing it
themselves they should be strung up for having an obnoxious 'friend'.
