I received this note direct (and removed the sender's ID as a result). It
contains info that applies to the thread in reference to the use of "Super
Check Partial" logging information during contests.

I had't considered that perspective before and may have missed this point
earlier. Said another way, "it is allowed by virtue of past practice" which
does not make it a bad thing...it's simply the way things are. :)
