but then there are some of us who have only single band set ups. it takes
me about 5 minutes to go from the 160m cabin to the 40m cabin, and
setting up to work two bands in the same contest is practically
impossible.
after the last storm, i am still getting my station ready for the
KCJ/ARRL DX test pair (on 160m), and then it will take me a couple of
weeks to redo everything to work the RDX on 80m.
running SOSB, i dont look at a 12 hour effort as running "1/2" a contest.
if i can get 3 hours total in the AADX contest (80m) the band has really
good prop.
i challenge anyone to come operate my station for 12 hours in a contest,
in fact i would present him with a plaque suitable for mounting on his
contest award wall....
