[CQ-Contest] WPX RTTY quirk

While reading through the RTTY WPX stories on 3830, something jumped out at me.

CQ WPX RTTY has single ops work 30 out of 48 hours.
CQ WPX CW and Phone has single ops work 36 out of 48 hours.

Just wondering why the difference?  

(You may recall the CW and Phone events used to be 30/48 long ago.)
