Regarding NCCC Sprint Ladder competition.

You may have noticed that the NCCC Sprint Ladder (NSL) is organized into five
triads of three events each, with a short break, usually one week. This week
is the end of the first triad, then we'll have a 1-week break.

So . . this is a great week to jump into the competition if you haven't
already. We've already set records in number of participants with 31 and 29
scores submitted in #2 and #3 of NS Ladder. See
http://www.ncccsprint.com/results.htm for current standings and
www.ncccsprint.com for general info and rules.

Leaders are Steve, N9CK in the East of Ms. River Div, in very close competition
with Mike, W9RE, 2915 vs 2794 points. In the West of Ms. River Div, W0BH has a
comfortable lead over W7OM, 2342 vs. 1910. Of course Ken, N6RO dominates NCCC
members, as always, but notably is in the lead nationally at 3012 point, less
than 100 ahead of N9CK. We have four participants in the Newcomers Division,
where the 6 highest scores 15 will count toward the award.

Lots of positive comments on the high activity and high rate this year in a
time of miserable conditions. This is a good week to join in if you haven't
already, 0230-0300Z Friday, Thursday night in NA on 20-160 CW. Mike, W9RE's
Slow NS, SNS happens 30 minutes prior.

NCCC Sprint LAdder (NSL V).
