One more comment about Skimmer Softrock-IF setup:

There IS one way to get a wide bandwidth in this situation. Just set up the
program as you would for a normal Softrock (i.e. no RS232 connection to the
radio). Pick a fixed frequency for each band and program them in the radio's
memories. Then enter the correct center frequency in Skimmer by hand.

This works fine and Skimmer gets the correct frequencies. But if you touch the
dial on the radio and forget to turn Skimmer off it will generate wrong freq's.
So this would be best with a dedicated radio. Also any time you change bands
you have to go to the Skimmer setup and type in the new center freq.
