Voila, I started doing that and finally the "Sprint Moves," which come so
fast and allow little room for error, became second nature. The contest
suddenly "slowed down" for me. It's a practical example of how practicing
helped.

If you keep doing such a good job at helping promote the NCCC NS, we are
going to have to put you on the payroll, Jim-San. :^)

Fellow NCCCer Ken, N6RO, frequently reminds all of us on the Post-NS Net
(3610) that even he needs WEEKLY 'Practice-Practice-Practice' --- so
'Practice' is Thee Magic Word. Unlike football practice sessions in high
school, the NS also provides the opportunity for some fun without the risk
of getting broken bones in the process.

A shameless plug for the NCCC NS website (where you can also find a calendar
and Thee Rules): http://www.ncccsprint.com .

The major benefit to Little Pistol Contest Stations ops is that the format
does not allow the 'Big Guns' to hog Run Frequencies. Everyone must QSY.
Calling CQ NS on the fringes with a teenie weenie signal can actually yield
results.

Tnx to all the 'NS Regulars' (and sharp ops) like K1GU, N3BB, K4BAI, N4AF,
N4OGW, W4NZ, KZ5D, W5JAW, N6RO, K7SS, W7WHY, K9BGL, N9CK, N9RV, W9RE, K0AD,
W0BH, W0YK and a flock of others (including periodic NS joinees) who make
Thursday Nights a FUN way to 'Practice-Practice-Practice' !!!

73 & GLITCOM's.
