Hi Albert,

I can certainly understand your frustration.

Sounds to me that if he was DQ, neither you nor anybody else deserved the 
D4C multiplier anyway.

As to the penalty, if you're not in the log, you're not in the log. It 
doesn't matter if it was your fault for "thinking" you worked him but didn't 
or his fault because he scratched you out later, since the log checkers have 
no way of knowing fault, they only see you claiming credit for a QSO that 
they cannot verify.

In any event, I hardly think you're alone. Is it a big deal? Only you know 
for sure. Did you lose a place in the standings? Did you miss out by one Q 
on a record? Did it cost you the honour of a golden log?

If the answer to any of the three is no, seems to me that at best, this is a 
case of spilt milk.
