With the NCJ CW Sprint rapidly approaching consider some early practice by
participating in NCCC Thursday Night Contesting.

NOTE: Now ok to use  7040-7046 on CW with release of Haiti emergency freq's
for general use.

Week 6 of 10 for the Winter NS Ladder is 0230-0300Z Friday (Thurs night in
NA).  Still time to fully participate toward wine awards.  Record
participation of 51 stations last week with very tight competition in our E.
of Ms. River Div, between N4OGW, N4AF and W9RE, and in West of Ms. River Div
between WD0T, N3BB and KZ5D.  Get on and help your friends!

NCJ CW NA Sprint and the NS Ladder differ as follows:

1) Add 160m for NS Ladder, 100w max 20-160m.
2) Band-mults in Ladder
3) 30 min duration (0230-0300Z)
4) Relaxed QSY rule. .1KHz in all cases.
5) Drinkable (or eatable) awards.
6) Full logs not req'd, report scores to www.hornucopia.com/3830score/

About the fastest 30 mins in contesting.

Summarizing:

Time: 0230-0300Z Friday, Jan 29 -- Thursday night in NA.
Four  bands CW; 160 (near 1815) ,80, 40, 20m
NCCC SPRINT (NS) RULES:  http://www.ncccsprint.com/
   -- NO DUPES on same band,
   -- 100 WATTS max,
   -- MULTS COUNT ON EACH BAND, as in NAQP.
