Sorry, but I have a real problem with that opinion.  I don't see why I 
have any obligation to a guy who is rude enough to decide that his 
desire for a contact with me is more important than my desire to score 
well in a contest in spite of my clear request to the contrary.  If I 
work him to get on with the contest, that's my business and it has 
nothing to do with whether I decide to send him a card or not.  I send 
cards to those hams who made a "context-friendly" QSO with me (which 
includes those who have obviously waited for a dead space to call me), 
not those who merely tried to abuse the situation for their own selfish 
purposes.
