This is an interesting discussion. Can I learn from my mistakes just by
self-learning or should I get help from someone?

In the past at work I always had the same discussions. I know
everything, why should I go to a training? Now I learned that from
exchanging information with other trainees I can learn a lot. Most of
the time trainers do help as well. :-)

It is the same with CTU, you will definitely learn from the teachers
because they are experienced contesters, you will learn from your
classmates because there will be lot of other contesters around who you
will speak during the breaks, lunch and if you stay overnight during the
contestsuites.
I definitely did learn when I followed CTU in 2009. I registered for
this years CTU as well because I did already plan to visit the Hamvention.
So is it worth the $85,-? If you are in Dayton it sure is. If you have
to travel from Europe its another story.
If you can combine it with vacation or a business trip I really
recommend CTU and/or the Hamvention.

P.S. Maybe it is time for a dutch language CTU?
