One day T. Arcala FT1000 (station) went to Azores Dept. of radio licenses and
got (bought?) him (her)self station licenses and managed to win contest without
having boy at the station. He even got precious certificate to prove it!

The point is that some of the loud arguers argument that remoteering is just
extending the headphones and mike "wires" is not so simple. How do the
licensing authorities look at situation when station in their country is
operated by someone whoknowswhere? Possible solution signing CQ8X/OH2UA/r?

Now the technology allows boy to have part of his radios all over the world and
to pretend being there - single op - split? Time for new category?

That would make too much sense. Why bother when ham radio logic is happy with
skewed scoring system in the world's wide biggest contest, hired guns are
single op and skimmer is a person-assistant, 3QSO "penalty". Instead of
listening to top contester's opinions, the chatter of (internet) loud opinions
sets the course and contest radio governments cast the rules in stone.
Technology is progressing and bringing new dimensions to our hobby/sport, we
should carefully consider the implications and adjust our contests rules and
categories to accommodate the progress.

Need new country? Let me know, I will mail or drop from the airplane the other
half of my station there and give you a NEW one! We should have all countries
on the air 24/7 very soon. We need more frequencies, wider bands to accommodate
all of their perpetual CQing so everyone can have ALL multipliers. Oh, and
don't forget the robot "stations", I don't need me anymore, K3BUr will be
making contacts long after I am gone.

Just wanted to shine some light at the "wire extended mike/key" idea, that
maybe is not so simple especially when it involves cross border control - one
pretending to be somewhere else.
