There are really cheap dual (or triple with the right OS) video cards. I use a
hd5450 that
goes on sale for $9.95 after rebate and including shipping. These are PCIe x16
cards
and can coexist with AMD based motherboard video adapters. These aren't gaming
video cards but seem to do ok for my contesting needs. These cards come in
many variations, but can have DVI, hdmi and VGA outputs so you will need
monitors/cables
that match up. I do have an annoying stutter on the motherboard video output
when using a three monitor setup, but I have that monitor out of my line of
sight so
it doesn't drive me nuts.
There is a newer, faster variant, the hd6450 that also hits the $10 price
point, just not
as often.
