[CQ-Contest] Fwd: Really enjoyed CQ WPX

I don't want to start a big debate but somehow I missed this change.   Rule 
X (d) on the rules I downloaded did not allow self spotting.  Or is  this 
perhaps allowed in certain situations with permission.  Just  curious.

By the way, the fact that self-spotting was authorized this  year also h
elped some south-east asian station to overcome the boredom of  calling CQ 
alone and maximized their  score.
