The TIC manual is very vague and would likely not be much help. There are
numerous variations of 1032 rotators and often replacement parts are not
available. I have had to machine new gears for some of mine. The
potentiometer is the most common failure, but lightning can damage the
motor and gears and bearings can wear out. If you take the motor assembly
down you can apply 24 volts to the motor leads, which should be clearly
marked, to see if it turns. I would look for any obvious defects. I
replaced all of my TIC controllers with Green Heron RT-21 control boxes
and they work fantastic with these units.

Hi folks,

we have a TIC ringrotor which is in service for more than 25 years. Now
it comes to repair it, because it doesn't turn any more. Before we start
guessing, we wanted to ask if there is a manual including schematics
available
for it. Unfortunately we don't have any papers any more.

The units are:

TIC Ring Model 1032
TIC General 2001

Hopefully there is someone out there who can help us. Already sent a
request to
TIC GEN a month ago, but no response until now.
