only mentioned it because the specs on the EA4TX website mention around 300 ms reaction time.....I "think" that’s probably enough, just wondered what others thought....

Jamie

The output power risetime (key closure to output power appearance at ANT output) of a typical transmitter is in the 1-5 millisecond range. The reaction time is much shorter than a millisecond, so there will be no two signals on the air at the same time. When thinking about this reaction time, think it is as long (short) as a single morse code dot sent at over four thousand WPM!

interesting to read the reaction times, and wondering , what is an acceptable reaction time? In reading the specs, it appears it is indeed possible to have two (or more) signals on the air at a time, even if it is for fractions of a second.....

Hi Contesters,

Definitely we need an Interlock hardware for our MULT station.

We will use 3 Icom´s radios.

What kind of Interlock Hardware do you suggest to avoid 2 signals in
the same band?

Is possible to build one ?...homebrew ?

any idea?,
