The wording of the new general rules for ARRL contests below 30 MHz is now 
somewhat strange:
"Single-Operator stations are allowed only one transmitted signal per band at 
any given time, regardless of mode; alternating CQs on two or more frequencies 
in the same band is prohibited."
One signal per band? So it leaves the question of single ops transmitting on 
multiple bands up the specific contest rules. Some of the specific ARRL contest 
rules (ARRL DX for example) don't currently say that single ops can only have a 
single signal.

BTW one signal per band IS allowed in ARRL VHF+ contests for single ops.
