Hello HF contesters
Next weekend is a great opportunity for contesters worldwide to work UK and EI
stations. This is the second year of the UKEICC UK/EI DX CW contest, which runs
from 1200z on Saturday 22nd April 2017 until 1200z on Sunday 23rd April 2017.
CW on 80m to 10m. A link to the full Rules and a link to upload your Cabrillo
logfile can be found at www.ukeicc.com
There are two changes to the Rules for this event – the log submission deadline
is now 24 hours after the end of the contest and secondly, stations in Norwich
will be using the District Code NK instead of NR. (If your software insists on
you logging NR, just log NR and you won’t be penalised, but NK is better if
poss) Adjudication is automated, with the provisional results being online as
soon as possible after 1200z on Monday 24th April.
Note – please ensure that the clock in your logging PC or Mac is accurate – you
will lose QSO points if there is a timing error of greater than +/- 5 minutes.
Last year there were around 500 logs received for this event, so hoping you and
