I wonder.. I just wonder..
How would it be... if we just add a single additional class .. just one.. call
it Unlimited Extra.. or Extra Unlimited...
and EVERY entry that is deemed as "pushing the rules"... would be automatically
moved to that class.
Leave the rest of the rules alone.. let the newcomers and little pistols play
with the big boys.. and all have fun..
IF you want to push the rules.. go right ahead, push away.. have some fun.. and
realize that you will be playing in
the same level sandbox as everyone else.
Leave the door open for newbies.. old farts... little pistols.. big guns.. and
ultimately.. no more whining about cheating this,
or pushing that..

The question is should the rules for multi be for the way most people
view and operate the class or catered to a select few that push the
envelope?
Would we have more or better competition if we changed to rules to
reflect the way that most multi operator situations happen?
I have no problem with those that want to push the envelope but I think
that mind set removes any desire from competing.
Would more people compete in a Multi single where it is once radio only
or a M2 where it is two radios? Where a smaller station has a chance to
compete.
What we have now is super stations just revamping their setups into
super MS or Super M2. Is some of it to avoid competition from other
MM's? I would say so.
In my many years of online gaming people always talk the talk about
wanting competition but they really don't they want to play to crush and
will avoid true competition at any cost. I think we see this a bit with
people shopping for the "right" category to enter to win the paper prize.
