Geez Mats,

Isn't a US domestic contest like Sweepstakes much like CQWW from Europe ?  You all pretty much work each other and working the US is an afterthought! There is proof of this if you download public logs from CQ for the guys with big scores in EU and North Africa. Usually 70% of their QSO's are with other EU stations inside an area smaller than the continental US. You consider that a DX contest? Every year I waste time calling EU stations on 160/80 meters when I operate from the Caribbean. Maybe CQ should NOT allow EU to work each other for any points and maybe you would have a different opinion about it? The one thing you do have going for you is you have some youth interested in CW. Here in the US it's mostly old guys ! :}
