Congrats John!
So any chance of adding some new rules/categories? Ideas below...
- Mobile category (additional points for mobile to mobile contacts.
Allow
mobiles to run a zone, country or continent lines.)
- 10’ antenna height category (one feed line with antenna height
restricted
to 10’)
- no computer-rig interface overlay
- Allow the use of licensed operator’s pets of any kind to operate a
second
station without having to be classified as a multi-op.
- Any player who uses the words ‘please copy’ during a exchange will be
reclassified as a check-log.
- Allow each log to imclude one contact on each of the WARC bands.
I’m just kidding with some or most of these. Enjoy your new adventure.

Congratulations to a FB choice for the job.
My only concern is that at one of those family gatherings a plan
will be
hatched (probably after a bit too much wine) to combine the CQWW and
the
Poisson d'Avril into a single contest.
Looking forward to seeing many of you in Dayton!

Subject: [CQ-Contest] Thank You!
A huge thank you to everyone for your outpouring of support for my
role as
the new CQWW Contest Director. I hope I can live up to everyone's
expectations. The key to our future success will be the
contributions from
our incredible committee who do the real work. The actual thank you
should
go out to them!
Hope to see many of you in Dayton! I'll be the clown up front during
the
Contest Dinner passing out prizes to the VE3 guys.
73, John, K1AR
