Greetings Diddlers:
Sorry for the late posting. As noted in the ‘special’ announcement regarding
the NCJ RTTY Sprint coming up THiS WEEKEND, this is your last chance to be sure
your diddle machine is ready for the BiG EVENT!
Last week in the NS RTTY we were into double digits, with the N3QE/K7SV
struggle continuing. Tim pulled it out by a few Qs. Let’s see who else can
give these two a run.
So please join us Thursday evening and get ready for Saturday. For you N1MM
users, remember to use the SPRINTRTTY contest on Saturday and not the
NSRTTYDUPE that you normally use on Thursday. Let’s make it a big turnout and
give those CW guys a run for participation.
W0YK has scheduled an additional practice session in addition to Thursday:
Friday NA evening (0145-0215 UTC Saturday): final practice using the NCJ
official rules. So mults only once, and 5 kHz when you move to CQ. Use the
proper contest format and make sure all is well for Saturday. Same time and
frequencies. As always, watch out for the FT8 guys who might be in the spots
just above x.080 so move up just a bit.
Also note that the BARTG 75 baud Sprint is Sunday morning (in NA). So you’ll
need to remind yourself how to get into 75 baud and try some rip-roaring 75
baud RTTY. It will get your heart pumping!
The details for our little get together this week to keep your diddles in tune:
