I called again just now (1952Z) and got a reservation for a room with a
queen-size bed,
I asked how many rooms had two beds and was told only 46 of 265 rooms do. I'd
be curious to know what the numbers are for the now-closed Crowne Plaza.
I think many like to share a room so the Hope Hotel numbers are disappointing,
though not surprising.

After trying to reach Hope Hotel for Hamvention reservation for an hour and a
half, occasionally getting the voicemail system and it looping and then dumping
me, and twice briefly hearing a human voice but then getting disconnected
immediately, I finally went to their website and sent an email using their
Contact page. Confirmation just came back from the general manager of my
reservation.
A separate note from the GM said: "Yes our phone line went down, we have
repairmen here working on it now, we'll make your reservation and call you when
the lines are back up and running."
