[CQ-Contest] CQ WPX question

With the RTTY WPX contest just past, and the SSB and CW versions coming up 
soon, does anyone know the status of the CQ WPX award, now that CQ has 
suspended operations?  Has someone else stepped up to manage it like with the 
WAZ, or is it now over?
